The India Point Ashwinders (4-5) and the URI Rhody Ridgebacks (4-4-1) are heading into the state showdown after losing results last week.  IPA was handed three losses by the North Shore Nor'Easters while URI lost two of three incredibly close games against Clark University Quidditch, the last of which went to overtime.

IPA's roster consists of Chasers Leah Jones, Tyler Poole, David Reich, Derik Wagner, and Jeremy Work.  Sarai Jaramillo will get in her second game action.  The Beaters include Chris Carchedi, Rod Hasbun, Nate Kingston, Will Orton, and Brian Smith.  Nick O'Mara and Amanda Richards will step in at Keeper with Max Rosenwasser at Seeker.  Rookie Seeker Jack Martin will make his IPA debut.

For the Ashwinders, Sunday will be their first ever official IQA games.  Not only will this week make a lot of difference in the standings for two teams that are right next to each other, but also will win the first ever RI Championship Trophy.  Brooms Up is at the India Point Park Soccer Fields at 10 AM.
