Why did you join the team? This is as close to being a wizard as I can publicly get without arising suspicion.
Greatest/funniest moment on the pitch: One time, I went to beat a nearby enemy, caught the bludger rebounding off his body, and used it to snipe an incoming juggernaut.

Making friends out of new, interesting people and being able to have fun on the pitch with them.
Why did you join the team?
I heard about the team's first recruitment meeting during the fall of 2012, and it piqued my interest. I was already in the lounge where the meeting was to be held, so I figured I'd stay for it. The fact I already knew Derik and Jeff beforehand may have helped in my making the meeting, since that made me even more curious about Quidditch.
Greatest/funniest moment on the pitch:
I once caught a bludger aimed at me from an awkward angle while I was running toward our team's side of the pitch without slowing down to catch it. Also pretty high up there are the multiple times while scrimmaging that Nate and I have traded bludgers when trying to beat one another.

An obsession with Harry Potter which gradually turned into a genuine love of the sport of Quidditch.

Favorite thing about Quidditch: I don't have a favorite thing. It's all amazing. I guess if I had to choose, I'd say my favorite thing about it is that it actually exists, and I can actually play it.
Why did you join the team?
I saw them practicing at India Point Park while I was walking my dog with my friend and flipped out. I went up to them and asked them to join. The very next week, I was practicing! I joined because these are genuine, awesome people who make great friends and teammates, and so that I could play Quidditch. Mount Holyoke College didn't have a team while I was there, and I've been searching for a local team for years.
Greatest/funniest moment on the pitch: 1) When we were short on players for practice one day (which was an almost weekly occurrance for a while) and we needed a beater and a chaser, Moi Arriaga picked up a bludger and the quaffle and said "Alright guys, I'm a cheater. I got this." (cheater = chaser/beater)
Favorite band/artist: Band - Coldplay.
Favorite books: Peter Pan, the Harry Potter series of course, the Dark Hunter series, the Sookie Stackhouse novels, some manga series, etc.
Favorite food/meal: I love food. Period. I have too many favorites to choose from. Mac and cheese, burgers, bbq stuff, anything my boyfriend makes, cheese, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Italian, um... yeah. Food.
Role Models: Obviously my family (that includes my friends because they are family to me, brothers, sisters, parents, etc.), my boyfriend, my animals, Bruce Lee, Avril Lavigne, multiple strangers I've met throughout my life, and myself.
Hobbies: Sports, anime/manga, paleontology, writing (mostly fanfiction), reading fanfiction, watching tv shows/movies, going to cafes with friends, anything Harry Potter related, theatre, singing... I have a lot of hobbies.

Anything else you would like to add: I love that we have an unofficial coach who is a martial arts sensei (instructor). We have learned so much from martial arts that has benefited us as a team. I also want to say that if we didn't work together so well, we wouldn't be a team. I love my team, and I will stand by them forever.

Favourite thing about Quidditch: The satisfaction of hearing a Bludger collide with its target (I'm a beater. It's my job to ensure that happens).
Why did you join the team? I like Harry Potter and dodgeball, and I needed exercise. The fact that it's a great community of players is also a plus.
Greatest/funniest moment on the pitch: When IPA and Wellesley jointly decided that, instead of continuing to play Quidditch in sub-freezing weather and wind, we should adjourn for hot chocolate.
